Option #1: SLM Financial, A Sallie Mae Company

To apply for a SLM Financial Loan please follow the folowing instructions:

Go to www.slmfinancial.com choose WA (Washington State) and “Holistic Health” as the school type, then click on “Apply Now.”

TIP #1
Call Bodymechanics School @ 360-786-8582 to receive our school code and talk a representative about the process of applying for an SLM Loan.

TIP #2 “Tuition Amount” is $9,37100.  Note: You will need an additional $1,000 to $1,800 for your massage table, linen fees, books, and other expenses; see school catalog for details.  Be sure to add tuition and all other expenses you may have, up to an additional $6,000 over the tuition cost, as the “Loan Amount Requested.” You will list the “Tuition Amount” and “Additional Expense Amount” separately on the application as well. Be advised that if you ask for the maximum amount above the tuition cost, you will reduce the likelihood of loan approval.

TIP #3
When entering dollar amounts be sure to use no dollar signs or commas (ex $2,000 would need to be entered as 2000) when filling in fields that require a dollar amount.

TIP #4
“Date Classes Begin” depends on the class you are attending:

September 6, 2008 Weekends
December 1, 2008 Mornings
May 4, 2009 Evenings

TIP #5  Note the “School Disbursement Date” as the start date and the “School Disbursement Amount” as $9,371.00.  SLM will disburse according to their loan policies.
